The story behind this piece is quite remarkable:-
“On the morning of 10th August 2016 in Etosna National Park, Namibia. I witnessed these two Springboks, linked together by a cruel twist of nature, that meant their horns locked with no escape. Spiralling and cartwheeling in the air for hours to no avail, escape impossible!
On my return the following morning all that remained were a few pieces of their horns.
Predators had made the most of a free meal!” – D A Scott.
