Bisto trivia:
The first Bisto product, in 1908, a meat-flavoured gravy powder which rapidly became a bestseller in the UK. Invented by Messrs Roberts & Patterson, it was named “Bisto” because it “Browns, Seasons and Thickens in One”.
Gallery 21 will be hosting Jessie’s first major solo art exhibition ‘That’s All Foakes’ – between 2nd-19th June 2022. This painting forms part of that exhibition.
