Pendeen to St Ives, Pendeen is a village and ecclesiastical parish on the Penwith peninsula in Cornwall, England. It is 3 miles north-northeast of St Just.
Mood – Exhilarating
These works will be exploring the power and movement of the sea and coastal areas especially the west of Cornwall. The overpowering urge to make gestural marks and spotting the touches of orange, lime green and purple-red lichen found on the rocks.
Through these works Karen is inviting the viewer to be part of her own journey on her coastal walks, looking at nature close up.
A fabulous large coastal canvas from one of Wiltshire’s top abstract artists – Karen Welsh. The canvas is float framed in a discreet tray moulding, allowing the side of the canvas to be visible showing the extension of the artwork as it wraps around the the depth of the canvas.
