Trevor Horswell

With his own father being a prominent West country artist, Horswell began professionally painting from the age of 14, selling paintings to galleries in the Tunbridge Wells area. This lead to a major Irish dealer taking his works to Southern Ireland.

With his own publications company reproducing other artists work along with his own, supplying over 72 High street galleries in the UK. During this time over 20,000 limited editions of Horswell’s artwork sold alone.

“Luckily at that time I stumbled across the simple fact that my paintings were being purchased by fan based consumers of the subject matter (not art lovers).

I am probably known for my paintings connected to Star Trek and Queen the band. This series of works was very well received and created many corporate and private commissions, worldwide. These years gave me the opportunity for global events and meet some incredible celebrities along the way.​

Spring 2019
Returning to the studio, bursting with ideas that simply need to be put onto canvas. Trevor will be making a huge transition from acrylics to oils for the first time.

There will be much experimentation, mistakes and great new finished works, which Gallery 21 will share with you all, through this site and related social media platforms.
